Gwyn Roy graduated from Gray’s School of Art in 2023 with a degree in Contemporary Art Practice. He works with sculptural materials including wood, clay, both hand-building and throwing, and animal bones. He also works in oil paint. With all these materials, Gwyn creates bizarre chimera-like creatures which question our relationship with animals. Brought up in Aberdeenshire, Gwyn has been a skateboard instructor, a barman and currently lives and works between Glasgow and Edinburgh as an artist and barber.
